Submit ManuscriptThe Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business (JILB) is a student-run, student-edited publication from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. First published in 1979, JILB is dedicated to the analysis of transnational and international laws and their effects on private entities. The Journal’s substantive focus—private international law and business—distinguishes it from many other publications in the international field. JILB publishes three issues annually and is circulated to practitioners, professors, and libraries around the world.
The Journal accepts manuscripts from scholars and legal practitioners in the United States and around the world. Submissions should be double-spaced, preferably in Microsoft Word. Citations must be accurate, include valid pin-cites, and conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, 21st Edition. An updated CV should also be attached. Please note that JILB does not accept student submissions.
Summer 2023: Submissions for Volume 44 (2023-2024) are open.
